When I was a child, I well remember myself playing with my dad’s superglue. My toy car had a broken side view mirror, and I often saw my dad use superglue to fix his glasses (they were rather fragile). The next day, my dad was furious when he found out that the sofa cloth had a crease that wouldn’t undo itself. He dragged me to my room and confiscated my toy car. It was only two in the afternoon. I stretched my lips in a frown and looked up at my dad with wistful eyes. But seeing his stern face, I knew there was no turning back.
I trudged to my room, shuffling loudly to show my displeasure. I kicked my action figures that stood in the doorway and bounced onto my bed. The smell of paint bothered me no more as I fretted and threw my pillows around. After about half an hour, I finally fell into a troubled doze.
My eyes snapped open. The room was shrouded in darkness, except for the dim street lights that shone from outside, and the little glow-in-the-dark stars that dangled from the ceiling. A shadow flitted past the wall, and I pulled my blanket over my head, my heart skipping a beat. Then I felt a little pressure on my bed, as something hopped onto it. I heard loud, quick breaths as tiny objects placed themselves on my stomach.
When I woke up the next morning, I found tiny drops of water on the floor, leading out of the room. With a curious heart, I stepped out of the room and followed the trail…

Ramirez's Creative Writing Task 3 (20)
When I was a child, I well remember that I used to secretly eat the snacks my parents do not allow me to eat.One day, I was caught, and my mom told me that I had to stay in the room for the whole afternoon.I Looked at her teary-eyed begging her not to punish me.But, she insisted on the punishment
I stood on the bed jumping up and down to kill time. And every once in a while, I would drop on the bed to pretend that I was sleeping everytime my mom entered my dirty room. The ceiling fan was creaky, almost as if it was about to fall. Finally, I fell asleep.
After hours of uncomfortable sleep, I woke up in a dark room with cold gusts of wind flowing through the room.I scanned the surroundings and saw something moving.I was scared out of my wits.I hid under the covers, hoping the lights would turn on.And suddenly, the lights turned on.It turned out that I was just dreaming.I wondered,”Who or what was that?”.Up to this day, the mystery is still unsolved.

One of my earliest memories were of my grandmother. She was still young and strong, about the age of fifty. She would take care of me, feed me, console me, basically, my 'second mother'. It was amazing how she had long black silky hair even at that age. To be honest, she was a bit fat, fat enough that I could use her stomach as a trampoline, probably because I was really light too. It also always baffles me how she falls asleep after twenty minutes of watching the television, and whenever I ask her why, she would always reply, "There is nothing entertaining to watch." All in all, she brought a lot of happiness to my life, and also a 'shelter' from my fierce mother.
I always used to play in the street soccer court near my student care. It has left me with many fond memories that I would love to cherish, gave me hours of fun every day that did not rain. The floor was concrete, cold and hard. It was so hard the when I fell on the back of my head, everything went spinning and I had a memory loss! The fences were green and rusty, almost like the ones in an old jail cell. Finally, the most important thing of all, my friends there. It was so fun playing with them and even until now, I miss them! That was where I developed my flair and love for soccer, and I will never forget it.
I remember my beloved first house, all the way in Myanmar. It was pretty small and long, almost like a hallway. It was on the fourth level, the top floor. We did not have an elevator then, so climbing up was a real chore. It had a balcony, my favourite place in the whole house. Every day, I would spend hours, sitting at the balcony, looking at the 'beautiful' streets below, with my favourite ball beside me.
These were the earliest memories and my fondest memories.

When I was a child, I well remember kicking down the tower of blocks that my little brother build. He started crying and shouting until my mother came. She looked ready to explode. “ Go to your bed now! ” My mother shouted at me. I got onto my knees and begged her not to send me to bed. My favourite show was starting. But to no avail, I was sent to bed.
I “accidentally” knocked down the books on my desk and slowly picked them up. The sounds of my brother switching on the television could be heard. The roar of motorcycles shook the room as they passed by. Finally, I climbed into bed and pulled up the blanket. Slowly, I fell into a troubled sleep.
I woke up in the middle of the night. The air was cold and stale. I got up to increase the fan’s speed. But there was something next to my bed. It was long and there was a blanket over it. What was it? I crept back to bed, heart rate increasing. Shutting my eyes, I said a silent prayer, hoping that it was not a monster.
I woke up the next morning, the blanket and whatever was underneath it was gone. I heaved a sigh of relief, glad that I was fine. I wondered what it was. Up till today, I am still not sure what it was.

I used to play in my grandmother's front yard; there were some potted plants and flower there, and it will also smell nice. There was also the noise of the bell of school as it was near a few school.Sometimes, when the dump trucks come by, my cousin and I would always run for cover as it was smelly and would wait for 5 minutes before continuing to play.We would also play catching there as it was big.We would chase each other around, and we were very noisy.
I used to live in a two storey in Malaysia. It was big, and my family would always sleep on the 2nd storey with aircon and TV.The TV upstairs was smaller compared to the TV downstairs and we also had a place where we stored all our gold and valuables. It was filled with lots of shiny gold and silver that I think was from my grandma. These are my earliest memories.

One of my earliest memories was from my grandmother. She had white hair and would eat kaya bread and drink coffee every breakfast. She used to sew on an old sewing machine that was made of wood and metal.I can remember the sound the machine used to make when my grandmother was using it.
I used to go to the park next to my block. There was a playground there which I used to go to.There was also a pond there. There were fish and terrapins there. The splashing of a fountain there was very loud and I remember it clearly.
I used to live in my old flat.I remember it to be spacious. There was an electric piano there. To me,it felt as though it was a grand piano. There was also a study table there too.I once used it to do my homework regulary.

One of my earliest memories is about my grandmother. She had soft red hair, and her face in wrinkles. Her eyes were black as night, and she was energetic, always moving around. I can remember her watching TV shows and always going out to meet her friends. Up to this day, she is still very energetic.
I used to go to the park near my house every day if it did not rain. The park was not very big and was ancient. There was a set of monkey bars, which had its paint peeling off and smelled of rust. There was also a swing which creaked and groaned whenever I used it. It felt very bumpy and noisy. Those two areas of the park were where I used to play. Now, I still go there every day.
I stayed in a tall landed house, and I can remember the smell of the wooden tiles on the floor. My mother used to have to shout loudly from downstairs to call me down to eat dinner. I can also remember the delicious smells of what my helper was cooking. It was very tiring to run up and down the house just to get something.
