Dear Russel,
How are you? I am doing fine. I am writing to you as I want to inform you of the travel plans I have thought of for you and your parents' visit. Since you like cultural and modern places, I have picked out two cultural and two modern places for you!

The first cultural place we can go on the second day is Chinatown. Chinatown has a lot of traditional shops and arts all around. You can get to see the different lives in the past and try some delicacies. You might also consider taking a trishaw ride around the vicinity. I chose to go on the second day as you might feel tired on the first day. On the third day, we can go to Little India, the second cultural place I have chosen. Just by walking around, I am sure you can get a feeling and understand more about Singapore! Little India has a wide variety of shops and houses. You can get to try spices and other food and beverages. It is also a good place to buy some souvenirs.

On Day 4, we can go to look at the first modern attraction, the Singapore Flyer, one of Singapore's most famous landmark! You and your family can enjoy a fantastic time on the world's biggest observatory wheel while taking in the panoramic view that lets you see other famous landmarks, such as Marina Bay, Merlion Park, and Empress Place. You can even try the Real Flight Simulator! Afterwards, you can have lunch at some of the restaurants nearby. Since we would most likely still have time to visit somewhere else, we can go to the second modern location, which is Marina Bay. You can get to shop around to buy the latest clothes or watch a movie! I am sure you and your parents would love to stay there, either just relaxing or admiring the scenery.

When you visit Singapore, something you definitely must try is the local dishes. I can take you to some stores that sell dishes like Laksa, Rojak and Nasi Lemak.

That is my holiday plan; I hope you like it and enjoy your stay! Be sure to visit regularly!

Yours sincerely
Kevin Tan

  1. Good Job Kevin! Nice vocabulary words. You can develop a little bit more on the food though.
